Charming northern Santa Teresa Beachfront Getaway
Our property is right on the beach, near to Hotel FlorBlanca, a short walk to nearest surf break.
At low tide there are rock pools for exploring and snorkeling. Sunsets are amazing! If you love the outdoors, you’ll love this house because it’s very open to the elements, the sea breeze flows straight through and there is plenty of wildlife around. The house is full of rustic charm and perfect for couples, families (kids will love it but beware of steep stairs) and any adventurous travelers.
One of the first houses to be built in the area of Santa Teresa (before there was electricity!), this house was built in the traditional tropical style using local woods. It is very open to the elements and full of character and quirky details. Howler monkeys are frequent visitors, along with raccoons, armadillos, iguanas and a resident tiger heron. If you love enclosed, air conditioned spaces, this is probably not the house for you. If you are adventurous and love nature, you will enjoy this space as much as we do!
‘Our’ beach is quiet and our neighbors are some of the most upmarket accommodation options in the area. There are 5 restaurants/cafes within walking distance.
There is a local bus which passes our property regularly.
